This hotel in gwalior is a gem! I loved it soo much. You must try their Malai Kofta, the best one I’ve had in my trips around India. They can arrange for you a rickshaw or car to rent going to gwalior fort, gwalior zoo, etc. The staff here are also super nice and friendly.
My room had a nice terrace to sit outside and additionally there is a roof top with beautiful view over the neighboorhood and to Gwalior fort (great when illuminated in the evenings). It is very silent, but although next to a very lively bazar road where you can find everything.

Staying here was a real treat. The property is stunning, a beautifully maintained and perfectly adapted historic building. The room was spacious, with an en-suite bathroom and a small terrace with chairs and a table. Just above, there’s a majestic terrace with a breathtaking view of the Gwalior Fort.
The young staff managing the place are extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with any needs. If I were to return to Gwalior, this would definitely be the place I would choose to stay again.
great staff who were there to cater to your needs and suggest things to do in the city. Location is close to qila gate of Gwalior Fort. For 1 or 2 nights on a budget and a decent place, this is a good option
We had a very spacious room so we could comfortably rest there after a day of walking. The staff was very friendly and helped us with booking train tickets. Also, the food is really nice and can be eaten at the rooftop terrace with views of the Gwalior Fort.
The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was a very short and easy walk from great places like the Gwalior Fort and Tansen's tomb. The view from the room balcony was surprisingly great! The rooms were basic, but spacious and comfortable enough. It was excellent value for money in this price range.

I enjoyed everything about my stay at Dera Haveli - it provided a quiet haven from the noise and chaos of the busy streets of this neighbourhood. There's a wonderful view of the Gwalior Fort from the Hotel's rooftop. The staff were great, very polite and helpful - breakfast, and actually all the food I had on site was fantastic.
