This small homestay has only a few rooms and is located right on the main tourist area in Udaipur. Our room was huge, very clean, with a large bay window that gave
us a view of the tourist traffic and a glimpse of the lake. Color glass inlays that lit up at night made it very romantic. There was always plenty of hot water. Breakfast is served on the terrace with a wonderful view of the lake. You can choose to have Indian or Continental. The person in charge of the homestay was very nice and attentive and prepared the breakfast to our taste. He even went out of his way to prepare food we could take to our train journey as we checked out very early.

Little Peepal House is a great option right in the center of the city, a welcome respite on a narrow and quiet side street but near everything. But the reason it’s a great option is because of the staff — Pappu is a great host. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in a great location.

It’s a very beautiful old house that was renovated with a lot of attention to details.

I was super impressed by the level of service. The staff went above and beyond in providing a place for us to rest when we arrived 6 hours before check-in, arranging an airport drop-off for us, and checking in during our stay. The haveli itself is very conveniently located in Gangaur Ghat close to Bagore ki Haveli, City Palace, and all central locations. The rooftop offers great views of Lake Pichola and and Taj Lake Palace.

Location & Heritage look of the property was amazing, near to the City Palace walking distance max 500 meters when we visit to city palace. In route we visited Mata Mahalaxmi temple, Lord Jagdish temple. And if you are going to Udaipur don't miss the Rajasthan cultural folk show at Bagore ki haveli near Lake Pichola. We enjoyed dinner at their rooftop restaurant and from there city palace view was amazing looking like golden temple.
Beautiful place with big comfortable rooms. Huge breakfast served to you on the first floor verandah. Short walk to both city palace and bagore ki haveli for the nightly folk dance and string puppet show. Priya and her sister greet you with chai and biscuits and a city map, then point out what's must see and how to find them. They are cool and sweet and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Highly recommended!
It was really nice stay in the bank of beautiful pichola lake. Excellent staff service. The overall ambience of hotel and rooftop resturant was amazing. Very close (walkable distance) to city palace, bagore ki haveli, jagdeesh temple,etc.. The walk through the streets also gives a good vibe.
The location of the property is perfect, it's in old udaipur and the city palace, bagore ki haveli and jagdish temple are just between 200-300 from the property with a view of lake pichola from the terrace
The staff is very cooperative and friendly, Warish bhai made our stay very comfortable in Udaipur!
