Located centrally at the Ghats, only really accessible by boat and the hotel does a boat TX from 2 different locations, so you get a bonus river trip. Hotel is beautifully restored and very elegant with nice views from the roof terrace. Staff were very good, helpful and friendly overall the service was excellent. We had breakfast and lunch and enjoyed the food. If you are going to Varanasi you have to stay by the river or you miss the point of being their so is well worth staying hear to get the most out of the trip.

We had a very enjoyable time at the hotel. Everything was excellent, location to the Kashi mandir and ghats, cleanliness and the staff. The food was of very high quality and very tasty. Several options for breakfast. Menu had varied options which were all very good. Every effort was made to make our stay very enjoyable and Would highly recommend the hotel. We would love to visit again in the future. Ashutosh at the front desk was very helpful and always available to sort things out. The travel agent recommended by the hotel; Sunny was also very good and professional and helped us a lot with arranging a very good driver . Could not find anything lacking.

Our visit to Kashi coincided with the Mahakumbh, a time when the city is overwhelmed with devotees, making it nearly impossible to take the blessings of Lord Sri Kashi Vishwanath. However, thanks to Mr. Anil, our stay was not only comfortable but also incredibly seamless. He went above and beyond to arrange every request, right from local transportation to ensuring we had a smooth darshan at the temple.
Navigating through the immense crowds seemed daunting, but Mr. Anil’s meticulous planning made the impossible possible. He arranged for a local vehicle to take us as close as possible to the temple, after which, following his guidance, we took a pedal rickshaw—a mode of transport permitted by traffic police even during peak crowd hours. Additionally, he connected us with a pundit ji, who assisted us in completing our darshan in under two hours—a feat that would have otherwise been unthinkable in such a massive gathering.
The level of customer service at Stay Inn Kailasha is truly commendable. Their passion for ensuring a delightful guest experience is unparalleled. A simple ‘thank you’ does not suffice to express our gratitude. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kashi—it is not just a stay, but an experience of warmth, care, and impeccable service.

The location is brilliant, at the pricepoint this hotel is what best you can get. I am actually surprised as if the hotel invest a little bit more and makes the room absolutely spic and span with the latest facilities (no major capex) this could easily be a 4 star hotel with a premium rate. However they've chosen to keep it at this level ( 2 to 3 star) for which the price and location (assi ghat) is brilliant.
It is the best hostel in varanasi. The staff (especially Yash) is very corporative ,caring & fun. The vibe at the night is the best here.Location is near assi ghat which is very convenient.

The location of the guesthouse is excellent. Assi Ghat is within 2 to 3 minutes of walk, which makes it a very convenient from location aspect. The owner was very friendly and helping type. The owner and hotel staff helped us to unload bags from a cab and to place the bags inside our room.
The facilities are beautiful and the rooftop restaurant overlooking the Ganges is wonderful!

Owner is a humble person, but this is not everything for a stay. Room is very small in size, stairs are narrow and stip, difficult for elderly people, no hotel staff, you have to carry your own luggage. Only positive things are proximity to Assi ghat and very humble behavior of the owner.
The hotel is very conveniently located in a quiet courtyard, but next to a busy street leading to Assi Ghat. Of course, in a large indian city it is simply pointless to expect silence at night, but at least we did not hear the sounds of the main street, where there is traffic and people around the clock. Our room was quite spacious, with high ceilings and a bathroom. Check-in did not take much time, the owner of the hotel was kind with us.
All the main ghat is near to hotel like shivala ghat, assi Ghat, dasaswamedh ghat, maximum 10 to15 by auto. All staff are very helpful. Hygiene is good and bathroom option for both Indian and western.
Highly recommended to this hotel to everyone if you came back in Varanasi so I choose this hotel again
