I am dairy and gluten intolerant and they could not do enough to accommodate me. I had a friend meeting me there for tea on her birthday and they very kindly made a plate with cake and happy birthday and all sang to her. I loved my stay as the staff were so helpful

I have been to the old city of Jerusalem 4 to 5 times and I love the place. But beware that some of the shopkeepers are impatient and rude. while purchasing bargain, they raise the price upto almost thrice as much than the actual price.

Lovely hideway in the better Jerusalem suburb. Jaffa Gate is 25 minutes walk. Taxi easy to take at the nearby Inbal hotel. The owner David is very reactive and helpful.
Accomodation is clean, air conditioned, all you need. Nice gardon with pomegranates and lemons!
I enjoyed my stay in this more than good hotel in the old city of Jerusalem. Its location is excellent, right next to the Jaffa Gate. The room was spacious enough. Breakfast varied and tasty
IT s already the second time I booked for this hostel. I feel welcomed. It s close to Jaffa Gate and many other relevant places. The Hostel itself has an original cultural aura and holds the necessary facilities for a confortable staying. I find the women dormitory convenient and Safe for solo traveler.
From the rooftop the View over the old town is captivating and nice to enjoy a beautiful sunrise or just chat with other guests.

This was my second time staying at Jaffa Gate Hostel, and after my first visit I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else in Jerusalem. The location is beautiful with views of the dome of the rock and the church of the holy sepulchre, the rooms are large and comfortable with amazing facilities, and the guys who run the hostel go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home during your stay. My partner and I had a fantastic time during our visit, and I hope to be back soon!
The location is Superb, about 100 meters from Jaffa Gate in the old city. Brake fest was tasty. The room was comfort. It was basic, but comfort with air-conditioning, a small TV set, electric Kettle and some tea and coffee. I absolutely recommend the place, and If in the future I'll need or want to stay at the old city, I'll probably return to Glorya Hotel.

Great little shops and restaurants near the Jaffa gate. We loved the Samara Restaurant for breakfast (eggs, pancakes) run by 3 Christian brothers, and the Versavee Restaurant near the Imperial Hotel for dinner. The food was amazing! Ask for Jacob. And the little shop in between for water, Israeli SIM cards, chocolate, and wine. :)
Looking forward to returning to Jerusalem one day, but coming in the spring or Autumn. Summers are hot! :)
The hotel has a perfect location within walking distance of the Old town. Jaffa Gate is just a 10 minute walk away. There is also a light tram station nearby. Do not expect a hotel as a building. The hotel consists of nice rooms located on one floor of an apartment building. There is a small reception at the entrance. The staff is very helpful. Outside there is a nice seating area with armchairs and sunshades.
We stayed in a newly renovated apartment in an old building in downtown Jerusalem (2 steps from the Mamilla mall, King David hotel, etc), 10 min walk from the Jaffa gate/Old city entrance. The hosting staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was arranged by a coupon at nice Nadi Cafe (great food, 5 min walk).
