It was a close walk to masjid al aqsa with lots of shops and restaurants along the way. The location makes it very easy to move around, especially when traveling with a family.The rooms were neat and modern. The staff were very pleasant and always willing to offer assistance when needed

The hotel is a 10 min walk to Machaneh Yehuda’s and less than 10 min to Jaffa Road. The hotel has bed. Beautifully renovated in an old building and they have thought of everything for the room. This was my second time staying at Jaffa Gate Hostel, and after my first visit I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else in Jerusalem. The location is beautiful with views of the dome of the rock and the church of the holy sepulchre, the rooms are large and comfortable with amazing facilities, and the guys who run the hostel go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home during your stay. My partner and I had a fantastic time during our visit, and I hope to be back soon!
The staff are so friendly especially Hayaat on reception. She was extremely professional and instantly helped us including providing us with directions and maps throughout our stay. The location was brilliant, about 15 minute walk to Dome of the Rock. Restaurant on the top floor was excellent, with excellent friendly service and good food.
Fantastic small hotel located in the heart of the old city within a few minutes walk from all the major religious sites and has many shops and restaurants on its doorstep. Modern facilities, excellent A/C and Wi-Fi and lovely friendly staff to assist all your needs. We had 3 rooms, balcony rooms are a bonus over looking the hustle and bustle of Via Dolorosa St. and upper floors have views of The Dome of the Rock. Would definitely would want to stay here again.
This hotel is a very short walk from New Gate which provides excellent access to the Old City. It is also close to the Light Railway (tram) station. It has a great roof terrace with views over the Old City and the Dome of the Rock. It is a beautiful building with lovely rooms (some with terraces) and all the facilities one might need. The bed linen and pillows are high quality. So often, these days, a hotel is disappointing but this one is excellent and hard to fault. Frankly, it must be one of the best places to stay in Jerusalem.
I like the roof it’s really beautiful view I think it’s one of the highest building in the aria you can clearly see the Dome of the Rock, with its distinctive golden color, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre
The guys on reception were really helpful and friendly. The central location was fantastic and the view from the roof was amazing, especially when the muezzin started up at prayer time (6 times a day). We looked straight out onto the golden dome of the Greek Orthodox Church of St John the Baptist and the bell-tower of the Church of the Redeemer. From the first floor we had a good view of the Dome of the Rock.
I stayed with my son for one night at Notre Dame. Location is perfect, staff of reception very helpful to guide us. Simple room with very nice view. Beds comfortable. The whole place has something special because of history and views to old city and dome of the rock.
