The location was good and the accommadation was clean and beautiful with a cozy atmosphere.The receptionist (Mr.Abdurahman) was very friendly and co-operative.The rooftop was beautiful with an amazing view.

Goes right into the Muslim quarter.
Goes right into the Muslim quarter. But to the right is a little sliver of the Christian quarter, with a tiny little bar/restaurant. You can sit there a drink a beer in a paper cup and watch everyone head to prayer.

There are a couple of thieving Lebanese brothers right at the gate. I read the problems others had with downloads on their credit cards but forgot and had my backpack "dipped" for US$1500 in Shekels.
Put a downer on my trip. Hotel was a total scam, dirty, run by a speaker on a wall, never see the staff. Wandering thieves at night trying doorhandles. Had to buy a torch to use the keypad on cheap box with key for the execrable dirty room. I will never return to Jerusalem. Tel Aviv not much better. The taxi drivers keep saying how "friendly" everyone is. Oh Yeah? Cheers! I know you have to go because of bible interest etc., but don't expect "Nirvana". The best part of Jerusalem was the 'wandering cats', (felines!), in the City on Shabbat.

Great location, just out side of the old city. It was only about a 6-8 minute walk to Damascus Gate. The area was active and safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Hajar and her colleague at the frontdesk were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nice and spacious. Palestinian breakfast was good

The location was perfect, it was right outside Damascus gate so getting the masjid was very quick and easy. There is also a lot of food stalls and restaurants on the door step which was very convenient. The staff were helpful and nice. I was there for the last 10 days of Ramadan so I spent most of my time in the masjid.
Excellent location not far from the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem. Parking provided nearby and the hotel sent someone with me in the car to provide directions. Delicious Middle Eastern breakfast with something for everyone! Very helpful staff always willing to assist and very friendly. Many historic and decorative elements in the mansion that make it a wonderful combination of modern bathrooms and quaint stone-walled bedrooms with attractive embroidery elements.
The location 2 blocks from Damascus Gate and 2 blocks from Garden Tomb made this special. It was more like a B&B than a hotel. A unique older building with character which also meant it did not have an elevator but the staff took care of the luggage.

We were allowed to leave our luggage in the room after we checked out.
Close to Damascus Gate
Location is exceptional. Easiest to find from Jaffa Gate. We arrived via walking from the Damascus gate and we were able to find with the help of nice shop keepers. View from the roof top is incredible and I'm not sure it can be beat in the old city! Staff was friendly and helpful. The interiors, common areas and our room, are charming. Guests seemed respectful of quiet times as it was quiet at night.
