In the centre of Carlow town, Dinn Ri Hotel features boutique rooms, an on-site nightclub and live band venue, and an outdoor terraced bar. The stylish sports bar includes three 48-inch plasma TVs.

The room was spacious, as was the bathroom. There was a large window, but dark curtains. It was a relaxing room with a comfortable bed. I had booked breakfast, but was running late in the morning. I asked for apple juice and a croissant and it was brought immediately. While I was eating, the reception staff organised a taxi for me. The staff in all parts of the hotel were lovely. I had dinner when in the bar when I arrived and day I checked out. The food was delicious.
The Wifi worked well. There was a tv, phone and hairdryer in the room.
The hotel is located in the middle of Carlow, so the town was easily accessible by foot.
I had checked before my stay that the nightclub would not be running, so I was not worried about noise.
