Hotel Minella is an elegantly furnished country house on the banks of the River Suir, close to Clonmel town centre and bordered by the Comeragh Mountains.

Check in excellent fabulous room 101 overlooking the town center very large we enjoyed it so much we booked the second night great location to explore from and so much in the town to see great walks along the Rivera excellent castle to visit and Swiss cottage loads of excellent restaurants
Lovely location in Cahir Town, town and castle are lovely . Lovely walk to Swiss Cottage ( ensure you take correct path otherwise you’ll be walking for about 8k, it’s only 2k). Lovely dinner in bar, large portions. It’s an old style hotel but that is part of its charm.
Great selection of food and a good selection of cooked breakfast choices for myself who is a vegetarian. Lovely evening meal, warm comfortable room with great shower, lovely location next to cahir Castle and walk to Swiss cottage.
The decor and atmosphere of the Lodge was beautiful ..The location and surroundings were fabulous .So close to Cahir,a beautiful town with a delightful medieval castle , park ,market,Swiss cottage and wonderful riverside walk ,gorgeous cafes.Well worth visiting while staying in such a lovely venue .Will definitely visit Kilcoran Lodge again again.Very welcoming.

Lovely Hotel with very helpful staff, especially Liam. Room was warm & clean. Breakfast very good. Perfect location for walkers, visiting the Swiss Cottage in Cahir, a lovely place with geese roaming free in the park & touring The Vee, stunning.
Wonderful friendly staff spotlessly clean room and facilities. Hotel is in the town centre. A lovely riverside walk through the trees 2 minutes from the hotel. Lots to see Swiss cottage. Cahir castle
