Boasting a bar, Tully's Hotel is situated in Castlerea in the Roscommon County region, 14 km from Dr. Douglas Hyde Interpretative Centre and 24 km from Roscommon Racecourse.
Pat, the owner of the place, was super nice! He proposed to drive me to the train station on the last day, which I really appreciated. The room was sufficiently spacious. The house is pretty close to the city center and Roscommon castle.
Perfect location. Easy parking. The whole place was spotlessly clean.
Everybody we spoke to was lovely and we had a nice chat with one of the ladies working there at breakfast.
We brought our dog away for the first time and that is the reason we chose to stay here.
The hotel is less than a 5min walk from a park which is extremely handy for dog owners and a nice walk anyway for everyone. The ruins of Roscommon Castle are fab and nice to the start of some biodiversity in the park.
