This is my 2nd time staying in this hotel. It's a beautiful hotel so close to the main street. The leisure center is really nice . Decent pool , Jacuzzi, sauna , steam room. The room is soundproofed so very quiet. Even though it's on a main street irs so quiet .spotless hotel room. Bed very comfy , more channels then the standard saor view ones in most hotels . Staff very nice . Plenty of tea / coffee , towels , toiletries

Reading signs posted on the Self guided tour gave a great history of Kilkenny, the family, royal connections, and history of the local area. Beautiful architecture, period decor, furniture, paintings, sculpture etc. The gardens and childrens' playground was definitely worth the time to enjoy!

The hotel is exceptionally well kept and in a perfect location and has its own parking area. The terrace overlooking the river and Kilkenny Castle is lovely, and it's an easy walk to the castle and the old medieval part of the city with pubs, restaurants and shops. Live music just across the street... well, everywhere really. The food service, especially breakfast, is fun and delightful. We were pleased to meet the 'lead from the front' general manager and tell him how much we appreciated the staff service and the hotel overall.
This property is located in the middle of everything! Grocery right across the street, coffee house right around corner, Kilkenny Castle an easy few minutes walk away. Property owner is very kind and provided as much information as we needed to make our time in Kilkenny remarkable. We will definitely look to stay here again if we make another trip to Ireland.
The location of Club House Kilkenny was perfect. We arrived early before our room was ready and the staff was kind enough to hold our luggage and even carry it to our room for us while we walked around in Kilkenny and explored! We were a very short walk to Kilkenny Castle and the main streets of the town full of pubs, shops, and history. Parking was included and located behind the hotel - which was very convenient! The hotel itself is full of charm and made us feel at home, I would definitely stay here again in the future!
Loved the convenient, easy onsite parking. Hotel was a short walk to everything. Kilkenny castle is just around the corner. Close to lots of bars and restaurants. Beds were comfy, good sized room. Bathroom had a good shower and bath. The staff were friendly and always willing to help and answer questions. They even tried to assist us in getting a last-minute dinner reservations on a Friday night. Eventually, not successful but they did make good recommendations and tried several restaurants but only late seatings so we went our own way.
This was our first stop in Ireland. Kilkenny is a great place, and the hotel is within walking distance to everything. Kilkenny Castle was just around the corner. We soon found out that we had brought the wrong kind of adaptor -- the desk was able to find us one to use and let us keep it for the rest of our trip. They also let us keep our car in the parking area after checkout time to tour the city. Breakfast was great.
The hotel is situated in such a beautiful position right next to the river & opposite the beautiful Kilkenny Castle. Staff were so friendly & helpful. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay here again
Great location, large bedroom, fantastic breakfast, friendly staff. This property is connected to Kilkenny Castle. The hotel building used to be the staff quarters for the castle.
The location of the Pembroke hotel was perfect. It was within walking distance to all the city cites and the train station. The room was really nice with a comfy king size bed. We had a view of the Kilkenny Castle outside our window. We loved our stay at the Pembroke Hotel.
Gorgeous rooms, we stayed in 2 different rooms as they did not have 1 room for 2 nights. Both rooms had beautiful views of the gardens, comfy beds and included exceptional breakfasts. Hotel is adjacent to Kilkenny Castle and central to everything.
Close to restaurants and shops. Walking distance to Kilkenny Castle. The breakfast was very good and included in the price of the room. Very interesting history of the hotel.
