The host Mary was delightful and after a long day travelling and getting caught in the rain it was wonderful to find the cosy apartment with homemade bread and eggs etc Such a beautiful peaceful location right next to the Hill of Tara site, and for my first time visiting the Hill of Tara as Tara staying at Mary’s lovely place made it even more memorable!
Marie is a great host! Friendly and chatty, she made us feel right at home. Breakfast was a nice spread of coffee, tea, orange juice, croissants, yogurt and spreads. Close drive to town and a great location to stay if you're visiting Trim, Navan, Kells and Hill of Tara with a car they're all close by.
The location was excellent, close to the Hill of Tara , and the apartment was faultless. It was warm and cosy, beautifully clean and very comfortable in every way. There was everything you could need in it, including some provisions which were very welcome after a long journey. There was well laid out information on places to eat, bus times etc and internet too.
The owners made us feel so welcome and couldn’t have been nicer.
Tara Vista is a real home from home and was perfect for us.
Absolutely beautiful place, well situated for Hill of Tara and Trim and many more places to visit. Sauna really warm and hot tub fantastic. Helpful staff and interesting decor. The grounds are fabulous with wonderful trees.
I loved the food...the ambiance, the charming surroundings...the glorious grounds...the friendly people.
Fast internet and such a lovely place. Great locations for touring The Hill of Tara...Newgrange...etc.
On arrival...a cozy warm room on a cold rainy day...ahhh so welcoming.
Really lovely apartment in a great location. Great spot if you want to get away from the hassle and bustle.very comfortable. Would definitely like to return as it is near loads of places like The Hill of Tara,Trim Castle and Navan. Also near The Oaktree Foundation in Dunderry Park
Everything went well at the Hotel, the hotel was really quirky which is something that appeals to us. We only had breakfast there as we were eating out at a friends house who lives close by. We did however have breakfast one morning which was lovely. Sadly we had to cut our stay short as my father had taken a turn for the worst and we had to return home. Amanda and the two guys on (early morning) reception couldn't have been nicer. We had planned to do all sorts of things but only managed to get to the Hill of Tara which was interesting.
Staff, food, location excellent. Hotel comfy with no bells and whistles. But that’s what we liked about it. Will be back again soon. It’s so near Hill of Tara, Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth so what more could you ask. Food is hearty and great value for money.
