The location was beautiful we love a trip to Aughrim and this was our 3rd trip. The breakfast was very good.quality food and cooked to the way you like it. We stayed during the snow and ice but we got out for walks around the grounds and roads and used the facilities i.e the pool, sauna etc.

We spent two lovely nights at the Glendalough hotel. We do not understand the bad reviews, the hotel was nice and the breakfast and dinner was good as well. Great location close to lovely hiking trails. We got engaged on this trip! Do not let the negative reviews deter you, it was perfectly fine.
We stayed in a two-bedded room at the hostel. It was comfortable and had everything that we required. Check-in was straightforward. The communal spaces were pleasant and the whole place was quiet and peaceful. Onsite parking was easy. The main plus point was the location, right next door to the Glendalough religious site, with wonderful walks direct from the front door - magical!
Comfortable and big apartment. Good location, 15 min walk to the Glendalough National Park, 3 min to the bus stop, 2 min to the restaurant (good food) and 1 min to a convenience store. Friendly staff (especially the Hungarian lady :) Nice garden.
I start with the biggest pros. The hostel is in the best place you can think of when you want to visit Glendalough. If you travel alone to Glendalough and you are a little on the budget, its the best option. Also, it's very convenient that the bus stop is very close. If you by food ahead you can cook later, the kitchen looked well equipped.
Excellent location for our two-nights stay ! 20 minutes walk to Glendalough where the hiking trails begin.
The hotel is charming, we had one of the rooms located in the garden, it was very quiet. Wi-fi is included. Breakfeast is not included, we had one in the associated restaurant wich was very good.
What a lovely hotel ! The location is perfect for visiting Glendalough park ; even though it;s on a (not overly busy ) highway , our room was quiet and peaceful - we had the windows open to the sound of a stream on the property , very nice ! Also the food was exceptional , Aunty Biddies Guinness stew was the best we've tasted in Ireland , and the service was quick and friendly . Will need a return trip I think !
The room was very big and comfortable. There were lots of spacious lounge areas, which many modern hotels just don’t have. Food was very good and service was very friendly. Ideally located for Glendalough, and only an hour and a bit from the port in Dublin.
Very comfortable private apartment in a great location close to Glendalough to services in Laragh village. Hosts were available and very friendly. Comfortable bed, excellent shower. Breakfast in room is very convenient.
