Belleek Castle, Ballina, hotel in Ballina

This beautiful and historic castle is set within 1,000 acres of woodland. On the banks of the River Moy, it boasts a restaurant made from the remains of a 17th-century Spanish galleon.

The castle had lots of character. We really enjoyed the tour of the museum with its large collection of artefacts. Sean, our tour guide, was very informative and made it all so interesting. We had a delicious Irish breakfast in the Jack Fenn cafe. Belleek Woods is a lovely place to walk in with its beautiful grounds.
