It’s stunning from the moment you enter through the gate and when the castle suddenly arises in the distance it takes your breath away! This is a proper castle with everything one imagines a castle to be. The dinner was excellent and creative, all locally sourced.

A must see!
A must see! This is Ireland's largest megalithic cemetery and one of the oldest in Europe but some areas are not wheelchair friendly though they do have accessible toilets You have to pay 4 or 5 euros for adult to get in. It does not state if you may bring food but snacks are available might end up pricy if you have group of children

The breakfast is European continental without cooked options, nevertheless adequate to get started for the day. The location is in a quiet residential area about 3 km from Sligo Town, which is a short drive. It is also close to Maebh’s Cairn and Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery.
