We visited numerous castles in England and Ireland, and this was one of the best. Well preserved, with an informative but far from "dry" tour by a local guide, it's a fascinating place well-outfitted with period furnishings and original fittings.

The apartment was perfect. Had everything we needed and was very close to the town, only a 5 min walk. Right across the road from an Aldi and SuperValu and had a couple of takeaway places close too, perfect for a bit to eat on the way home from the pubs. Cahir castle was beautiful and the apartment was very easy to find. Swiss Cottage was also good and we were so lucky with the weather. Avelene was very welcoming. Thanks for a great stay
2 grocery shops extremely close by. Cahir castle an easy walk, eating establishments close bye, everything you need in apartment. Very spacious and comfortable. Lovely furnishings. Free parking.
All of staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The central location, proximity to the Cahir Castle and connection to the history of the area is wonderful. The hotel was warm and cosy. The breakfast was really great as was our requested view of the castle and garden. Access to the Hotel from the carpark was very convenient.
Great selection of food and a good selection of cooked breakfast choices for myself who is a vegetarian. Lovely evening meal, warm comfortable room with great shower, lovely location next to cahir Castle and walk to Swiss cottage.
Very good Hotel. Clean and Comfortable. Friendly Staff. Good food. Very Central. On the Main Square. Cahir Castle nearby. My third Visit, And I hope to be able to get back again sometime soon!
Be very careful Crossing the busy road outside but most drivers will let you across!
