We stayed with a friend in Sabana Bliss part and appreciated the newness and cleanliness of the place. The hotel is just off the main road, in a hidden and quiet place, but yet very close to all the central places and the main attractions. It is also a few minutes walk from yoga barn and we took advantage of that. Really friendly and accommodating stuff, including the cat at the reception. Two pools are an extra bonus. We already want to go back!

Even though I was sick on the last day of my trip, no fault of anyone but myself. The hotel sorted a doctor to come to my room and administer IV drip. This hotel is 5 star in all ways. The staff are so friendly and customer service is superb.

Nothing! Had the worst experience ever. We went there for the christmas celebration and booked it 4 days. The room we booked was deluxe and as soon as we entered the room smelled horrible. We asked for the room change and they moved us to the villa, that didn’t even had a working air-con. Me and my husband couldn’t even sleep there for 2 hours the whole night.
We left the same morning asking them the refund. They charged us for a room which smelled horrible/didn’t have a working ac. Breakfast was way too normal with stale breads.
Also, we reached their late around 10 expecting to get se room service as it was raining madly. To which they said they have a party ongoing and don’t have room service and gave us the same stale croissant and butter.
Be go at your own risk.

Super fun - so many monkeys. But they are cheeky.
Super fun - so many monkeys. But they are cheeky. DO NOT have anything out in the open like a water bottle or a phone - they will steal it and you will never see it again. The trails and walking around the Monkey forest is awesome. Very well laid out and lots to explore and its super cheap to get in.

Don't bring any food or drink, if you can, keep all bags at hotel. monkeys there although not aggressive but still attack tourists as locals know how to deal with them. Please leave them alone and never feed them human food.

The place is amazing, the way animals and locals are connected is incredible, the sunset is awsome. But please, if you want your trip to be easy going, just leave your stuff in your hotel, put contact lenses on, don't bring your sunglasses, hats or jewelry. Buy a phone case that has a strip on it, thank me later hahaha

This has gone downhill. Little vegetation on the floor. It used to be a lovely forest environment with the monkees going through the tree tops but now it was just a walk through on a boardwalk with monkees on the ground or a few in the trees.

Piece of advice tho, don’t walk around with any bottles on show, the pesky monkeys will steal it from you. Thankfully it didn’t happen to us but we saw a couple of people get attacked for their water botttles

The monkeys are crazy! They will steal your things and you have to tip someone to get your stuff back. Definitely trained.
They can be very aggressive too- don’t go close or make eye contact. Leave all belongings in a car before you enter including sungl

If you go to the Sacred Monkey Forest, don't forget your insect repellant! Mosquitos even during daytime are present. Don't miss going to the traditional dances at the water palace (close to starbucks) and the Ubud Palace, there is also another location for dance shows, on the Monkey Forest street. People are selling the tickets on the street, different show every day. Great food from the local restaurants, and great location if you want to travel to other places with temples, like lake Beratan for example.

I happened to choose this villa which is located in quiet place, I can let my children run around, It is quite safe. Some of the villas had kitchen which you can cook urself. When bringing children to Monkey Forest make sure your children dont bring angy toys or food along, they monkeys will grab it. In some villas, there are lots of mosquitos.. Make sure you have something prepared for it. Better choose villas with air conditioning, because it is heaty during the night.. Not really comfy for children to sleep

Different music each night with brilliant musicians performing music ranging from blues, soul, acoustic, Latin and rock. Also check out the Havana Bar for authentic Cuban food and live music which is off Monkey Forest Road just past the soccer field.
