Another stay at the Double Six, although only a short one after a long trip to the Tomia area of Indonesia. The hotel check in was excellent and attentive from luggage delivery to room allocation. The welcome drink is the best we ever get anywhere. Breakfast is served on the roof top and is of high quality with a full range of offerings. Quite a few staff appeared to be ‘trainees’ and notwithstanding that the service was good throughout. The poolside experience was good and we had no problems getting a sunbed/towels/service when we used it. We were given a complementary high tea at arrival and this was very nice. Fantastic views from the room (see below for the downside).

The room was exceptional and the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. The location was great, right in the heart of Kuta, but if you just wanted to stay in the resort it has everything you could need from amazing facilities to incredible food at their restaurant.

Staff are so friendly and helpful, breakfast was fabulous and it's so central to so many great venues and restaurants. The staff kindly made up a beautiful towel artistic display with rose petals as a nice surprise for my birthday. They also brought one of the delicious patisseries to my room in celebration.
