We loved the view! It was completely amazing and our little terrace was perfect. The apartment was very nicely laid out and we enjoyed many meals on the terrace each day as we were lucky, apart from one day, with the weather. The shower was excellent and the complimentary Occitaine bath products were a really nice touch. We cooked in several nights and the oven and hob were easy to use with a noisy but very effective extractor fan, and it was really good having a dishwasher. With a dining area inside and out, we were able to eat in even when it was raining. The Nespresso machine was perfect - and the apartment was supplied with some (not Nespresso) capsules and also basic cleaning stuff - washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and bin bags which was really helpful. A tea towel for drying would have been helpful and egg cups would have been helpful but in general the kitchen was nicely appointed and easy to use. Also we had salt and pepper and balsamic vinegar provided but no olive oil and there was no fresh milk (albeit they provided capsules for milk) and some orange juice which was good. The apartment was very peaceful too albeit we were lucky in that we had quiet neighbours to the side and below! We loved the little deck with loungers to the front of the apartment and the kayak which we made full use of during our stay. We also loved happy hour at Mimi’s Bistro and the ability to use both the loungers on our terrace, in front of the apartment and at the Bistro and the towels provided were very generous including beach towels. The two throws were very useful as in the evenings we could sit out on the terrace and still stay warm. Also reception was very responsive and super helpful both prior to our visit and upon arrival - especially Michaela.
