Sylvia & her daughter were the upmost excellent and friendly hosts who greeted us so kindly & with drinks on the house at their local family-run cafe downstairs (not to mention, so affordable, cute, and delicious- a must visit while you’re there!). They offered us recommendations and suggestions for local food experiences and to avoid the overly commercial places.
The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated, it felt like home quickly & had all the amenities to cook a few meals ourselves; the grocery store just steps away & parking right in front of the building. The apartment is exactly as seen in images.
While Zminj is a quiet town with limited things to see, it was perfectly centrally located to do day trips to explore all of Istria.

I recently stayed at Guest House Maxi and truly loved every moment of it. The hospitality and friendliness of the owner family, Marija and Danijel, were exceptional—they took very good care of me throughout my stay. The room was extra clean, equipped with a fridge, and the A/C worked perfectly. The rooms are very quiet, so you don't hear other guests, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The view was amazing, with stunning sights of the sea and lush greenery. I will definitely come back. Thanks to Marija and her son Danijel for their first-class hospitality!
