For children, it was great. They enjoyed everything and did not notice any negative points. For adults, it might feel more stressful than relaxing.
Large entertainment area inside the resort: 4 outdoor pools, 2 of them deep enough for adults, the other too good for small kids. Large enough so that they don't feel crowded. I especially appreciated the fact that they get closed after 7 pm and a daily water cleaning begins. The water slides are a great asset. They were enjoyed by children and adults. The water in the pools was very pleasant, I don't know why other reviews mention it being cold. It was definitely not cold.
Large sport court for playing football, basketball, tennis. You need to have your own equipment (or maybe you can barrow some at the reception, didn't try that).
The private beach is awesome. It was honestly the best beach & water I found in Croatia, coming from Split area. The sea water was surprisingly warm, and the depth grows smoothly. The sand area is great for small children, with no rocks on the beach nor under water. There is a natural shadow in the morning on a large beach area.
The food was ok and very diverse. Some dishes were very tasty, some of them not so much, but overall, you could find something for everyone. For coffee lovers- there is both a coffee machine that serves a weird beverage similar to Ness, but there is also normal coffee in a large silver recipient (we did not find that in the first 2 days and we're very disappointed 😀 ). Important to say that after 4 dinners and breakfasts, no one from our group of 14 people got sick, so I would say this is a good thing.
The rooms were decent. Not very modern, they could use some maintenance work. The air conditioner did his job.
Residence Garden Istra Plava Laguna will undergo a complete renovation and improvement, both of the accommodations capacities and the common areas in the building.
