The Silveri Hong Kong - MGallery, hotel in Hong Kong

The Silveri Hong Kong - MGallery has a restaurant, seasonal out-door swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a fitness center and bar.

Although my stay at The Silveri was only two nights, during which a storm caused by Typhoon Yagi passed by and forced the hotel pool to be closed, I had a pleasant experience. The shopping mall, Citygate Outlets, which is below the hotel, is very convenient, and was especially convenient during the storm. The location is great, being only 15 minutes away from Hong Kong International Airport, and being on Lantau Island, an absolutely beautiful place that I wish I could have seen more of during my stay. My room was clean and comfortable and had a nice view, and the staff was overall helpful.

Great attraction going up to The Big Buddha.

Great attraction going up to The Big Buddha. As you enter there are very expensive shops selling ice cream and drinks, if you want something much cheaper walk just past the stairs going up to Big Buddha on your left there is a little cafe selling ice cream and goods at a fraction of the other shops near the entrance when you get off the cable car.

    It was amazing!

It was amazing! We bought our tickets online directly from Ngong Ping 360 website while waiting in a very long line to buy tickets. This allowed us to bypass the queue and join the gondola immediately. We opted for the glass bottom car which provided us with magnificent views of the mountains. Once we arrived it was quite like a theme park with shops and dining available. We climbed the steps to see Big Buddha and visited the monastery. We ate lunch and visited the shops. We didn’t allow for enough time to go to the fishing village so my advice would be to get there early to make sure you can see everything. It was well worth the cost of the tickets.

very disappointed, was here in 2005 loved it, 2019 there's a cable car with massive queues and they've now built a little village up there with souvenir shops, i personally think the whole area has been ruined. the Budda itself is still impressive
