This charming area of Xanthi is perfect for a morning stroll. One of the best-preserved old towns in the country, it’s a little maze of cute façades, overhanging balconies and window boxes full of flowers. Once you’ve stretched your legs a bit, stop off at one of the many cosy cafés for some refreshment.
