Location was perfect, so close to a great beach, and a little outside the big touristy section of town. It is a little tucked away, so might be confusing to find when driving to it, but you actually appreciate that it is more secluded and private from the main busy road. Staff was friendly, accommodating, hospitable. Would stay again.

Beach is beautiful. Sunset is amazing. Plaka is a very, very long beach. We didn't have a car but if we were to stay longer we would definitely rent a car and explore more of Plaka and other beaches and towns on the Island.

It is really a wonderful and affordable place to stay very near plaka beach. very friendly and welcoming hosts, super clean and quiet, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, the balcony is really cute and it's close to the most beautiful and natural area of the beach.

Golden Sand Hotel is excellent. The staff was very kind and thoughtful. The breakfast was wonderful, beds were comfortable, pool and sunbeds were great. Plaka Beach is a few steps away, clear water and soft sand for miles. Dirt road along the beach has many restaurants and small markets. Highly recommend. We extended to 8 nights.

The location by Plaka beach is perfection. A lovely, chilled out hotel with friendly staff and lots of restaurants nearby. Also the free transfers were really appreciated.
We only stayed for one night because we had an issue with our initial hotel. The house has an outstanding view which cannot be described in words or photos.
Plaka beach is within 5 minutes walking distance, and we were so lucky to swim with a sea turtle

This place is wonderful, right on the beautiful Plaka beach, but down the road from all the other beach bars and hotels so it’s nice and quiet. Kiki, the manager, is fantastic and very welcoming. The food at the restaurant is fantastic, and you get 20% off when you are a guess, even though it’s already a good value.
