Excellent hotel value for money. Nicely located 40 mins from Volos and close to other big towns in the mountains. The people running the hotel were extremely nice. Breakfast included in the price which was excellent. If we are around Pelio area in the future will come back again

Lovely first floor room in a historic mansion in Portaria. The village centre is less than 5 minutes' walk away and contains a lot of the restaurants, cafes, shops and the bus stop to Volos. The breakfast was excellent (particularly the selection of local teas), the staff were helpful and there is a nice pool for cooling off after hiking.
Hotel Kenta Beach Hotel occupies a superb location right on the promenade overlooking the main beach of Agios Ioannis, Pelion's oldest and most developed seaside resort on the north-eastern coast.

Exceptional service by Demetrius, who met us at the roadside late in the evening, parked our car, and could not have made more effort to make us feel welcome. The staff generally were great, from the efficient waiting staff thorough to the efficient cleaners. Everyone seemed very familial, which made this small hotel very charming.
The location is perfect - directly on the seafront with a superb private beach. There was a great variety of restaurants and shops nearby, including a very well stocked beachfront supermarket.
Inside the room, there were unbeatable eastward views, a great shower, hot water, reliable air conditioning, and a cosy balcony. The room was tastefully decorated in pastel colours and thought has gone into the warmness of the bedside lighting. We appreciated the generous shelf space in the bathroom and the ample supplies of soap, etc. Acceptable WiFi.
The year-round Boutique Hotel Kentrikon & Bungalows is located only 30 metres from Agios Ioannis beach. It features rooms with partial or complete views of the Aegean Sea.
