Fantastic location, just off Monastiraki Square and a two minute walk to the Plaka district. Clean & comfortable rooms, staff generally very good, one guy in particular, unfortunately we didn't get his name was really friendly and helpful. Whilst in the bar first night with friends, (travelled as three couples) he found out we were there celebrating my birthday, called me over and had upgraded our room, new room had a fantastic view of the Acropolis.

Excellent location only a 15 minute walk to the Acropolis, and close to good bars and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will return when I’m next in Athens.

Very busy during the evening night time.
Very busy during the evening night time. Imagine Oxford Street and double the amount of people. Worth visiting stopping and having a lunch/dinner and a drink in one if the restaurants with life music. Amazing lighting and overall lovely atmosphere. Friendly and caring staff. Even on my own I felt safe, welcomed and have had a very good time, just chilling and watching crowds pass by.

Excellent location across from Monastiraki square with metro exit next to hotel. Excellent size room l, plenty of space with small area hidden on wardrobe with tea/coffee facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, great location 2 mins walk away,with 10% discount of ordered from main menu.
We really enjoyed the stay in Adonis Hotel. Its localization is perfect, as it is really near to Syntagma or Monastiraki squares. Additionally, the Acropolis view from the roof-top is astonishing. Breakfast are fresh and delicious. Moreover, the service is really great, and the rooms are very tidy, with fresh towels every day.
This is very well located in an area replete with chic bars and restaurants about 5 minutes walk from Monastiraki Square. This is a small hotel without a 24 hour reception; we arrived when reception was unmanned but access was very smooth and easy. Room was small (basically a bunk-double bed) but the bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean.

Shopping in May has the advantage of end of winter sales. I saw ankle boots go from 45E to 25E. Prices are better in Athens than say, Thessaloniki, and Monastiraki is where you'll find sales on shoes, clothes and linen.
