The manager Aris was exceedingly helpful and tried very hard to rectify what was a disappointing stay in an otherwise lovely city. The location is good for both the harbour front and central square.

We had a very nice stay, mr. Christos was always there when we needed him. Breakfast was great, simple and austere. They even brought us home-made cake done by Mr. Christos wife.

Very nice welcoming reception and hosts, extraordinary breakfast (prepared to order from a menu, on request due to extrordinary circumstances even outside set hours), calm and clean room, balcony for everyone to the harbour, for relaxing in the evening, stable and fast wireless, help with the baggage, nice and above-standard room and bathroom accessories, comfi bed not causing any problems for my spine, nice location on harbour bay with view of old town. Acustically tight windows even kept Friday night buzz from harbourfront outside. Bars and grocery store next door.

We absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely be staying there again. The room was wonderful. Everything is to a high standard and all of the staff are lovely and very friendly. (Our only tiny note would be to have kettles in the room for tea and coffee.)

Excellent position, very welcoming and kind guest, spacious rooms, air conditioning in both sleeping rooms. If you need a place to stay near the port and not far from Miaouli square, it is okay. Plenty of bakeries and food around. Cheap for the place.
Martha and Maggy were super nice and helpful. The location is great only 1 minute away from Asteria beach and only 7 mins walk to Miaouli square. There is a personal character to this hotel and the breakfast was excellent with many options and a fresh homemade pita (pie) - different every day! The rooms were comfortable and very clean. WiFI was working perfectly.
We stayed in Central Nine for the Epiphany long weekend. The welcoming was awesome and the owners were amazing. We arrived earlier than the check-in time but the room was ready. The rooms are centrally located, right in front of Miaouli square, so walking to the whole center of Ermoupoli was very easy. The room was modern, just like the photos. The beds were comfortable and our overall stay there was amazing. I would stay in Central 9 again.
Lovely superluxe establishment with beautiful views at Miaouli square. The neoclassical building is newly renovated with spacious rooms and excellent taste.
The hotel manager was absolutely amazing into making us feel welcome and ensure that our trip to Syros was as comfortable as possible.
It was great value for money. The location was incredibly convenient as it is close to everything (the port, the Miaouli Square, Theatre Apollo, etc). The room was cute and pristine clean. The hostesses, mother and daughter, were kind, smiley and really attentive. If I ever re-visit Syros, Hermoupoli Rooms will be my top choice.
