Beautiful city with amazing seaside cafes and restaurants.
Beautiful city with amazing seaside cafes and restaurants. Just a couples blocks back there is a pedestrian walkway with a central square lined with shops, coffee and ince cream cafes and restaurants. We loved our time there. It is a short drive to the Botantcal Gardens, two Wineries and beautiful beaches. We left our hearts on the island of Kefalonia!

There are several pleasant walks from the town.
There are several pleasant walks from the town. Head out to the Venetian lighthouse and beyond and find the moving memorial to the Italian soldiers killed on the island. On the promenade spot the loggerhead turtles eating the fishermen's cast off fish. Pleasant main square and shopping street, and loads of cafes and restaurants. Buzzy place and friendly.

Argostoli is an attractive port town with a picturesque bridge and some excellent restaurants - our favourites were Momento for seafood and the Captain's Table for lamb kleftado. The huge turtles where the fish boats dock were an added attraction. The town is a great base for touring Kefalonia! Staying at Twelve Suites was perfect, with the wonderful Athina to consult for local recommendations.

We were looking for a quiet place to stay, after some busy travel time. This place was great. I imagine it is more active in the summer months, but we were looking for peace and quiet. Lots of restaurants nearby, though we chose to cook quite a bit because we've been on the road for a while. There were a couple of things we would have like to see (Archeological Museum and Botanical Gardens) but they weren't open yet. That's okay. We come to Greece in the off-season and know what to expect.
The place was super well located just outside of Argostoli in a beautiful secluded spot. Our host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be - meeting us at the stay when we arrived and making sure we knew everything about the apartment.
We would definitely stay here again if we had the chance!
genuinely friendly staff, willing to help with recommendations regarding best restaurants, beaches etc
very clean, convenient location
its the first hotel we stayed where we felt genuinely welcome
the staff enjoyed helping us in any way they could
Good location, renovated rooms.
The hotel arranged for our transfer on arrival, which was convenient for us.
Best breakfast we had in Greece, with several home-made options.
They would leave you treats in the room when they clean it.
Brand new residence excellent equipped, great location, absolutely stunning sea and lagoon view, superb hosts!
The apartment was exceptionally clean and very comfortable.
Definitely one of the best in Kefalonia!
