The Hotel is in a nice area, lively but not crowded, safe and pitoresque in one way. The view of Acropolis is just amazing by night and in the morning when a delicious and generous breakfast is serve on the rooftop. At the desk are avaible some sweets and Mandarine Juice. The staff was really kind and gave us suggestions about places to have dinner nearby (great traditional food!). The room was clean and beds very confortable, parhaps only a bit small for a long stay. Anyway, I am very satisfied, I love the city in winter, I have been hier many times but first in december and my aim was to visit archeologica sites with my son who studies ancient Greek. Perfect to reach Acropolis and by feet to the most important places, also the museum - wow! - is just 5 minutes walk.
With a great location in the centre of Plaka, facing the Acropolis, this 5-star hotel offers personalised service, a beautiful rooftop pool and well-appointed rooms with a buffet breakfast included.

Acropolis Museum
Athens is a city steeped in history, shaped by the people and empires that have called it their home. This relationship to the past can be seen and felt throughout the city, but the true scale and beauty of Greek antiquity is best appreciated at the Acropolis Museum. Standing beside the Parthenon itself, the museum's exhibits span thousands of years and document the story of the people of Athens through war, religion and daily life. From marvellous marbles to stunning statues, there's no better way to feel the true presence of the past.

The museum is one of the most interesting on the way objects are displayed. You definitely need a minimum an audio guide which its free on the museum site i think. The view of the acropolis from the museum adds a magic touch. Buy tickets inside the museum

I suggest a visit to the Acropolis Museum before visiting...
I suggest a visit to the Acropolis Museum before visiting the Acropolis. Seeing the sculpture/artwork at eye level gives you a better sense of what was once there to inform your understanding of the structures on the Acropolis. The museum construction above archaeological structures is spectacular, with clear floors and walkways that allow you to see what is below and remind you that the Acropolis was surrounded by dense habitation. Although the exhibits are beautiful, Interpretation of the objects, the underlying structures and the Acropolis is sparse and/or inconsistent. I would have expected to learn more about where the objects were manufactured, by whom, who was living/working in the ruins below the musuem.
The museum has a pleasant cafe with spectacular views of the Acropolis from below. It also has a large quiet reading room that offered a much needed respite from the crowds, heat and sensory overload of Athens in July!

The museum is not to be missed!
The museum is not to be missed! Beautifully designed and so many artifacts to be in awe. Visit at an earlier hour to beat the crowds, don't forget to visit the excavation site of dwellings from the 4th/5th century located below the museum. There are no signs that this area is open for a walk through. When we visited, it seemed as if it was not open to the public, but luckily our curiosity took over and we decided to walk down for a quick look. To our surprise, it was indeed open and we were able to use our museum tickets to enter the archaeological site.

buy your ticket on line before you go.
buy your ticket on line before you go. I spent at least 45 min in the first entry room alone! incredible museum! just jaw dropping. It is a relatively new structure and houses it's collection beautifully. I went at the opening time and it was packed by the time I left. Consider that.

Don’t skip this.
Don’t skip this. It’s essential to understanding the stuff you see at the top of the Acropolis. Get a tour that includes both the Acropolis and the museum. You’ll save time by visiting just the essentials and not waste time, and avoid crowds and get the best stories.

Must-see attraction.
Must-see attraction. You can purchase entrance fee to Acropolis and Museum in advance. Museum built over ancient ruins. Glass floors to view the ancient ruins and artifacts. Our tour included the museum but you can explore on your own at your leisure. Several food cafes inside the museum for you to take a break.

The apartment was clean and comfort. It had everything that we need. It is close to Acropolis museum, around 10 min. walking.
We had a parking place. That was very important for us, because Athens is a city where is very hard to find free parking.
We were really pleased to stay there.
p.s. Thank you for the wine and cookies
The staff were courteous. The room was clean. The location is perfect. 2 min walk to Acropolis metro and Acropolis museum. Athens is very walkable. So you can consider skipping the metro card, and only opt for the airport transfer ticket. All places are at max 2 km from here.
Perfectly located. A few minutes walk to the acropolis and acropolis museum. Restaurants cafes and MacDonalds just down the street. Very clean spacious with a comfortable bed. Room is modern and warm. Staff very helpful. Breakfast is great.
Small hotel with a very pleasant atmosphere. Perfectly located in the center of Athens, just steps away from the Acropolis Museum and within walking distance of many other key landmarks in the city. Very clean, with a welcoming and well-trained staff. Good breakfast.
Love this small hotel in a great location, walking distance to the Acropolis museum but in a very local area with many nice little places to eat. Very helpful and nice staff. Great that you have a small kitchen in the room.
Professionally hosted by a company this building is newly constructed , in a very quiet area , apartment was freshly repainted , well cleaned , 12 minutes walk from acropolis museum and with easy access (code and key box) .
Would definitely suggest to a couple - family ( all the amenities were there ) plus heating since the weather was cold .. 👌
The location of the property is excellent, with walking access to all key attractions. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the Acropolis Museum.
The hosts have great communication and are very responsive, which is a big plus.
The area is surrounded by markets and fantastic restaurants, making it very convenient.
The location is great, 2 minutes walk to the Acropolis Museum and 7-10 minutes walk to the Acropolis. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The metro, markets and cafes are very close. And from the veranda you can enjoy the view of the Acropolis.
Thanks Christos for the great hospitality.
Value for money. Acropolis Museum and restaurants were near the hotel. The bed was very comfortable. Free flowing coffee all day at the reception. Fast wifi connection.
