This hotel is good but not great. Not great means you would hardly return for another stay. BTW, restaurant was surprisingly good for a la carte orders and even more surprisingly terrible for breakfast. As a basecamp for Kakheti tour hotel does the job, but it misses lots of details of chain hotels even in 3 star category. I would suggest having formally trained hospitality manager on site

The location of the chateau is simply amazing - a couple of kilometers from the main road, quiet, peaceful - far from the noise. It's perfect for escaping the city. Looks like a castle from the outside, with terraces overlooking the surroundings. Just a few rooms - feels very private, with breathtaking views all around, as the building sits in the middle of a beautiful vineyard. Plenty of fresh air, mountain view, and a pool. The dishes in the restaurant were pleasant to try, plus the in-house wine made of the grapes grown on the premises. Overall, we enjoyed our stay so much. We visited in August and are willing to come again in winter time.

staying here is a wonderful experience, jumbo huge rooms with huge beds, delicious breakfast with natural products. upon arrival we were waiting for wine tasting and a walk through the old vineyard.

Winetour is very nice with very very nice wines. He stayed and we were having a chat with other guests and the owner about life in the area and the reality in georgia while tasting the wines, so it was quite a diferent tasting. We had the last cabin so it was quite quiet. The food was very nice and together with the wine it makes it even better.

We had a wonderful stay, we where able to park the car behind a fence. So that was protected. We had nice ac and oké beds. We did a wine tasting one village further up, the host did bring us with his own car. That was really kind of him!
