We attended evensong on Sunday afternoon- lovely music but the choir master is leaving and there is a mystery here as he is very popular produces a great choir and was only three years off retirement, and obviously loves his work. No mention of illness no explanation at all. With no members of Church committee appointed new choir master with no knowledge of musicianship

Very close walking distance to Winchester Cathedral which was the main reason for our visit, as well as into town. Although no parking on site, the public car park a short walk down the road was quite adequate and safe. The breakfast was excellent too.
