The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food, especially the breakfasts, was really good and plentiful. The place itself had a very unique charm - full of history and quirkiness. The gin collection was enormous!!

Cooked breakfast was excellent and the rooms were clean and tidy. The problem that the Hotel has that it shows it's age, it is in need of a refurbishment (windows, heating etc.)

Watermouth lodges are in a fantastic location.The lodge was clean and we had a really enjoyable stay here.Great that it was right next to the beautiful watermouth castle.
So nice that you have the watermouth castle on site for a full day out. Also great that there is an onsite soft play area, outdoor park and swimming pool. This helped fill up some early evening time for ourselves and child when we wanted to have drinks. We did not eat at the site but the food looked good and well priced would in future if we returned which I'm sure we will.
Lodge was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Perfect location, close to Watermouth Castle, Ilfracombe and Combe Martin.
Staff were lovely, especially the Food and Beverage manager and chef. Sorry don't know their names. Made us feel at home. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.
Would definitely recommend staying here.
Great location . The site staff were extremely helpful. Dont be put off by Watermouth Castle being next to the site. There was no noise from the attraction.
