Friendly staff, prompt service especially when ordering room service. I liked the digital services the hotel offered such as digital room key and ordering services from the hotel app. The spa was also a nice touch fantastic treatments and a lovely swimming pool and sauna we booked directly with the spa prior to our stay but seemed quiet enough. Hotel very central in between Waterloo and Westminster stations and rooms where clean and spacious.

You must remember that since the Norman invasion of 1066, this has been the seat of common law for any country that broke away from England. And the architecture takes you back to another time. We also had the pleasure of being there within a very celebratory week--both the 200 year anniversary of Waterloo and the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta.

We stayed here because it wasn't too far from Waterloo as we had tickets to see Streetcar Named Desire. The play was brilliant as the shows always seem to be.
