The property was beautiful and staff is friendly and attentive. We dealt mostly with Stephanie and Patrick and they were outstanding! I would highly recommend this property. Also, the restaurant is amazing! We were in a store and asked where to eat lunch and they sent us to Bishops Gate.

Perfect location, right in the city centre, and walking distance to all the pubs, tourist attractions, etc.
Breakfast was really good, and although the sauna wasn’t working, the amenities are quite decent.

Climb up to the top of the wall and take a hike around the town that was besieged for months back in the 1680s. Evidently, not much is known about the inhabitants then, as the same information is repeated over and over.

We took one of the City Walking Tours started by Martin McCrossan twenty years ago. This tour was absolutely superb. The history of Derry and its city walls is fascinating and it is easily the best thing we did on our visit. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

The hotel is located just inside the ancient city walls of Derry, so the location is terrific. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room had ample space. Another plus is that there was on-site parking in a garage at no extra cost.
The location was excellent, right across from the walls of Derry. Parking was around the corner, and was free! The room reminded us of a Georgian style that was very inviting. Best of all, Kieran is an exceptional host. Made us feel welcomed and he’s fun! We’re only here one night, next time in Derry will be a longer visit and back here again.
Number 8 is located within the walls of Derry. We could walk to restaurants, attractions, and stores. Kieran, our host, was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. we enjoyed talking to him. The room was small but very comfortable.
