Location is excellent. Right in the centre, near the castle and there is a carpark at the rear of the hotel which you can access by steps from the carpark . Breakfast was excellent 👌.

Nothing was too much.
I thought I was going to end up in yet another dormitory, but not at all. We were staying in what were clearly university rooms. For less than the price of a bed in a dormitory, you get a room with a double bed and a private bathroom.
The setting is magnificent, the University of Stirling is surrounded by greenery and even has a small shopping centre just a 5-minute walk away.
The leiu is extremely peaceful and welcoming, although a car is essential.
A perfect location for events in the University of Stirling.
I have to mention how friendly and accommodating the staff were. Especially the staff at breakfast. They were so friendly and welcoming.
The setting. The University of Stirling is the most beautiful campus I can imagine. The lakes within, and the mountains without, make the scenery quite stunning. I walked to the Wallace Monument (impressive too), which dominates the skyline.
Location of the accomodation is great, not very far from view points and tourist attractions. Also close to supermarkets and shops. The value is great especially when every B&B in Scotland is charging 90+ pounds a night. The place is secure which is also great plus as it is located within the university of Stirling so it is under security watch 24h. It is really great value for what it is.
