Lovely staff. Bathroom could do with a radiator as it was very cold. Bedroom was nice and cosy although we were in one of the rooms outside which was not ideal. Lovely decor. Food tasty in restaurant/bar. Breakfast very basic. Could have more options. Great location. Would stay again

We have stayed in the Millbrook Lodge on several occasions over the years and love it there.
The hotel rooms are spacious and have lovely pieces of furniture.
The staff are so welcoming and always remember us which is nice.
The food is amazing and great portions.
I would recommend it for a nice quiet get away.

Perfect location and a stone throw from local amenities and Tollymore forest park and the mountains themselves which was amazing. Couldn’t fault this place and to be honest was better than we expected. The perfect getaway 🥰

Fantastic stay in a peaceful area very close to Tollymore Forest Park. Everywhere was immaculate and the owners had thought of everything including a few thoughtful extras. I look forward to returning soon.
We had a phantastic stay! Helen was really friendly and helpful, we felt at home right away. The room was spacious, spottles clean with a really comfortable bed. The breakfast was outstanding, probably the best we had during our two week stay (and the others weren't bad either ;) ). Just acroos the street there is an entrance to the beautiful Tollymore Forest Park.
Lovely, comfortable room in a relaxed atmosphere. The views from this place are gorgeous, looking onto the Mourne Mountains. The variety of food for the continental breakfast was very good. I would highly recommend staying here.
Tollymore Forest Park is nearby & is well worth a walk around. I also went to the Game of Thrones Studio tour whilst staying here (approx 30mins drive away) which was excellent!
The chilled country vibes of the place, yet minutes away by car from bustling Newcastle and the sea and also walking distance to beautiful Tollymore Forest Park. Oh, and the coffee from the Nespresso in breakfast room!
