We absolutely loved the hotel; the smell of the enter hotel as you enter, the lifts were so cool and artsy. The view from the 21st floor was incredible and it had everything we need; coffee station, an iron with an ironing board, fresh towels as and when needed. Including a mini bar filled with nice drinks at a cost of course. Although we did not touch it due to our jam packed days of exploring London.
Oh and to top it off; the restaurant downstairs completed our stay! The food there is good; loved their fillet steak.
We are replacing the Thames Foyer with Savoy Lounge. The beautiful new space will seamlessly integrate contemporary style whilst remaining true to our much loved heritage.

We purchased tickets through a third party website, but the management at The Shard would not recognise our order, so we were refused entry. We hoped that we would get some assistance but, unfortunately after 3 weeks of backwards/forwards emails, we were still unable to gain access. This cost us just under 100 GBP which we simply could not afford. We would never go back to this attraction again.

Nothing will convince me that the primary design motif for this building was anything other than that when the inevitable London fog rolls in, then the illuminated peak of The Shard should look like nothing more or less than the Eye of Sauron glaring out across the Mordor hellscape. When this occurred to me, it amused me. Then it started getting creepy. Quit staring at me, Sauron!

Overall we really liked the hotel. 8th floor had great views to Tower Bridge and the Shard. Bed was comfy and it was extremely clean, to be honest I didn’t see such a clean room before.
Exceptional room with an amazing view of the Shard (pic taken from our room) and across to the London Eye, very clean and tidy, decent fridge in room (yay!), friendly staff, Sainsbury's 2 mins away. Five minute walk to Tower Bridge and lots of cafes, restaurants and pubs close by - and Borough Market. All above expectations tbh, and will definitely stay again.
