The staff were first class. Christine, who booked us in, was very friendly. Nothing was a bother, and she gave us plenty of information about Derry. We had a few drinks in the bar, and the manager was great craic. A local from the Bogside, he was a wealth of information on where to go out in the city. Every member of staff we came in contact with were exceptionally helpful. The friendliest staff I've ever met, great people.

VERY sad & upsetting history of what happened in the Bogside. Great history walking tours that tells the TRUTH. Fantastic pubs, local food and friendly atmosphere . Local people very friendly and polite know matter where you come from. Will definitely be visiting DERRY again.

Wonderfully warm welcome, delicious breakfast, lots of recommendations from our host. Located in the heart of the bogside, just a few minutes walk to everywhere
Perfect location, easy walking distance to the Bogside walking tour and shopping. Beds were comfortable, shower was good.
We didn’t eat there so cannot comment on food.
The price was very good for Derry standards. The location was very central, a 3 minute walk from the Derry walls and a 5-minute walk from the Bogside, and was located just outside the peace wall which contained informative plaques about the city. The room was spacious and clean and the property was generally nicely kept and quiet. There was a large kitchen and living room for us to use and relax in.
Very nice and clean accommodation in the Bogside quarter with super comfortable beds. We were there before the check in time but we could easily reach the owner and put our luggage already in the apartment.
We loved everything about the property. In particular, its location was perfect. We were in the centre of everything and had the honour to explore the rich history of the Bogside.
Our hosts had thought of everything and were extremely generous with all the homely extras.To be honest, we were sad to leave but will definitely be back!!
Fabulous location , love this area of the city, and the Playhouse theatre is a few doors away. So central and close to the Derry walls. Lovely comfy room and the family room had a lovely single bed in a corner of its own for my teenager ! Great continental breakfast and chats with the owner Kieran. Would highly recommend a stay at No 8.
Make sure you visit the Bogside and the Free Derry Museum !
Excellent location almost at the wall, walking distance to the Bogside and Peace bridge. Full kitchen facilities and dinning room. Twin room was small but comfortable with ensuite. Safe undercover, off street parking. Teresa was there to help guide us through the fairly narrow entrance to garages. A comfortable stay, thank you.
