I loved the beauty, the continental breakfast meal, the comfy beds and wonderful smelling soap & lotion. The front desk staff in particular were lovely and extremely helpful.

Came into town after an 8 hour drive through traffic. We were worn out, tired, and cranky. The staff and amenities brightened our moods right up. First class place, first class staff

Swan Theatre
Enveloped in a gorgeous Victorian Gothic brick building, the Swan Theatre is a sight to behold, inside and out. Smaller than its counterpart next door, the neighboring Royal Shakespeare Theatre, this charming space seats a modest 426 people. Famous for putting on plays from many of Shakespeare’s contemporaries, it gives visitors the chance to sit back in their red-velvet seats and be transported to Shakespearean times.

I have always loved this theatre and been many times but this time we had front row seats in the side dress circle which were incredibly uncomfortable because there was no leg room. Luckily Management changed our seats at the interval. The play and production was excellent.

Brilliant Swan theatre!!
Brilliant Swan theatre!! Frequently puts on plays by Shakespeare’s contempories and later such as restoration playwrights, and newer works.
Smaller than the RST, more intimate. I actually sat behind Hilary Mantell when her plays Wolf Hall and Bring up the Bodies were being staged.. there were brilliant.
