Good sized room, very large comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good and great quality, well cooked. Location is perfect to access all the main sites, less than 10 minutes from Shakespeare's house. We didn't have much interaction with the staff but everyone we did talk to was very friendly and helpful.

Plenty to see and do, lots of excellent pubs and eateries - check out the Dirty Duck along by the river - and good shops if you want them. Sunday market, lovely park area to hang out in. RSC superb productions if you like live theatre.
Great surrounding area to visit, with plenty of places to explore in the Cotswolds, National Trust properties and walks, within a 30 minute drive.

We only stayed 2 days and night and that was about right to see everything we wanted to see. Stratford is not a big place. We took an audio walking tour and a "Sinister Side of Stratford" walking tour; both were informative and entertaining. All of the key sites centre around the Bard. We managed to see and hear all we wanted without paying entry to anywhere, but most key sites require payment for entry to specific parts.Prices for food and drink are definitely at the higher end, but there is a wide range of options. We went Sunday to Tuesday and it was busy, but I suspect it could get a lot busier, so you have to be patient to get your photos and see everything. You can walk around the whole town easily in 1 day, so no need to move the car or use a bus for us. Car park was £28 for 2 days. We enjoyed the place but after 2 days we has seen it all.

The Stratford Upon Avon bus tour was good with audio commentary throughout. Some very nice restaurants & pubs to try out & some lovely walks around the town & along the River Avon too.
Parking may be more difficult when staying in the centre of Stratford Upon Avon, unless hotels / Guest houses have allocated parking, but as we caught the train, this was not an issue. The train station is approximately 10 to 15 minutes walk from the centre of Stratford Upon Avon, & the walking route is mainly flat.

Great history especially if one is a Shakespeare aficionado.
Great history especially if one is a Shakespeare aficionado. I was drawn more to the architecture and history as well as the walks along the canal. Also, theater is great, of course. We were unable to see a Shakespeare play, but instead saw "English" at the Royal Shakespeare Company's newest venue "The Other Place", a facility established by the RSC after a top staffer shook things up a bit in 2016 and suggested being more relevant

Everything. We loved it all. The food was delicious and the staff were very on the ball with my lactose intolerance. It wasn't cheap but worth every penny. The room and bathroom were large, clean and comfortable. The hotel stands in it's own, extensive and stunning, grounds. The surrounding area is also beautiful and lovely Stratford upon Avon is close by. All the staff we encountered were very helpful, friendly and appeared happy in their work.
The hotel was in a good location but not much around it. There is National park but was expensive to go in. The decor of the hotel was outdated but comfortable and clean. The room was a nice size. The food was nice in the bar area but expensive compared to restaurants. Stratford upon Avon is 5 miles away and was lovely place to visit.
The hotel is in a nice and quiet area not far from Stratford Upon Avon. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff all friendly and helpful. We didn't have an evening meal so can't comment on that, but the breakfast was excellent.
