The staff try hard to get it right. Good parking. Very clean. Breakfast served at the tables. Good, old fashioned hospitality you rarely encounter these days.

Excellent interest. (Tick off the bucket list!)
Excellent interest. (Tick off the bucket list!)
1) Book in advance and avoid Monday.
2) Use a full day and see the Brunell Museum too.
3) Parking is a problem: you need lots of coins, or the Ringo app. We had no coins and I couldn't make the app work. The museum staff kindly gave us some coins; and the museum policy refunded parking to a card! (How silly is that?) So Bristol County: grow some sense and enable use of cards.
4) Try to avoid the tangled junction at the west end of the harbour (we lost our lane three times).
