Beautiful place bedroom was great ,restaurant was fantastic and the food to die for. Staff were brill from the head of the restaurant to waitress all fantastic at breakfast and dinner. Chefs catered for all our needs . Will be going back again.

Great views on a clear day. Check the weather first. First part is along the river and through forest. It then opens up to the mountains the ground is very gravelly in places so wear good walking shoes.
The location is great, so close to main street Newcastle and also Slieve Donard if interested in hiking.
The view of Donard from the kitchen window is spectacular.
Coffee, tea, milk, bread, selection of cereals, butter and jams were provided, which was a lovely gesture.
I treated my parents to an overnight stay at the Slieve Donard. They were mesmerised with the hotel. They said it was magnificent from they went through the front door to they left again.
Slieve Donard Hotel is a great spot for a nice relaxing break away. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Service was very good also and really enjoyed all the amenities including the spa.
The location was great, very central to everything. The aesthetics and interior were nice. It was well set up for self catering. We were there for a wedding in the Slieve Donard hotel and it was only a 10 minute walk, we also climbed Slieve Donard Mountain which was also in walking distance of the property. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, it was comfortable and clean.
The location was perfect for a wedding in The Slieve Donard Hotel. The apartment was spotlessly clean with everything we required. We loved the fluffy towels in the bathroom as well.
Walking distance to the Slieve Donard Hotel, walking distance to shops and restaurants, plenty of parking around the corner. Everything we needed was provided in the apartment. Fantastic view of the mountain and the historic church on the Main street. Fast internet, and landlord answered my questions promptly and helpfully.
Lovely spacious apartment in a very central location. Fantastic for the Mournes, particularly Slieve Donard. Very efficient service and good facilities.
We were at a wedding in the Slieve Donard hotel so for our purposes the location could not have been better. The car park is only about three minutes from the apartment. The accommodation was comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was very quiet.
