Liam and Rachel are the perfect hosts, incredibly welcoming and nothing was too much.
The hotel has a great location with a view of Harlech Castle and right next to the train station.
The rooms were clean, spacious and had lovely little touches such as tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the rooms along with little snacks and biscuits. There is a welcome book in the room which gives you all the information you need in and around Harlech. The food at the hotel is incredible, especially the breakfast. Generous portions, for a great price. Made our weekend very special!

It was spacious and comfortable with lots of useful facilities included. Space in the room was well used and it was so nice that a small kitchen and seated area was included. Beautifully decorated all round.
The staff were incredible, from the checking in to the restaurant, it was clear they were incredibly knowledgeable and really took the time to look after all customers. Food was delicious in the restaurant and we were very impressed by all the service.

had a bath a real boon and the breakfast was wonderful the staff fixed at short notice for three more breakfasts for our campers escaping shell island before the tide trapped them, this was very very kind and we had such a good breakfast together also a lot of understanding re charging phones etc thank you

A lovely warm friendly hotel. Beautiful well appointed rooms, an excellent breakfast, good parking and, a nice bar with bar snacks. All the staff were really lovely and helpful. The location was great for visiting Shell Island and waterfalls inland and not far from Harlech and Barmouth. Look forward to a repeat visit.
All food, especially breakfast was plentiful, great quality and beautifully presented. Great service , all staff friendly and attentive. Room was spacious, clean, very comfortable. Shower good. Lovely fluffy towels. Great selection on the tea tray and kept topped up. 😃 hotel itself is in a great spot for visiting Harlech and Barmouth and Shell island just round the corner. Also great walk to the waterfall at the top of the hill, the stream runs by and is so peaceful. Lots of free parking a bonus.
Beautiful quirky property. the room had everything you would expect and was clean. Staff were very helpful. Best breakfast I’ve ever eaten anywhere. we also ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was fantastic and value for money. we were visiting nearby family at shell island so it was perfectly located only 1.8 miles away. Safe to say they all wished they had booked into here too!
