I was blown away at the price for what you got…such a unique experience — every detail thought of. The decor was exquisite, the staff knew you within minutes of your arrival, the bar and breakfast space was as charming as could be. Everything was perfect.

This is a hidden gem. We all loved it.
This is a hidden gem. We all loved it. We spent about three or four hours there. We took a bus from George Street to Ocean Terminal and you go into the shopping mall there and the entrance to the ship is there. The gift shop is across from the entrance. The ship is still as it was when it was decommissioned, so everything that the Royal Family used is still there. There have a lovely tea room. We all thought it was a fantastic way to spend the morning.

Do not miss visiting this retired yacht of the Royal Family.
Do not miss visiting this retired yacht of the Royal Family. Self tour with audio takes you throughout the ship which is well maintained and is filled with many years of mementos of the royals. From the lower quarters of the lowest rank sailor to the state room of the admiral in charge, (not to mention the rooms of the Queen and Philip) the visitor gets a good look at life on the yacht

It is a shame, that it impossible just to get infront of the vessel to take a foto. We were send by the staff to a food-areas-terrace and later drove into the free parking-lot on the top-floor to get different perspective.

An excellent whole day out, with a very informative audio guide. Atmospheric, lots to see and great fun ! The on-board cafe was very good, and reasonably priced. We went from Edinburgh to Leith by bus, then walked back on the path alongside the lovely Water of Leith.

SUPERB.
SUPERB. See the double bed Charles ordered for his honeymoon with Diana, pour a pint in the officer's mess, see the gifts given to the Queen and Duke in the state room, see family photos on desks and walls, keep it real in the laundry, visit the Yotties' quarters, and enjoy a drink or lunch in the on deck tea room. Keep your ticket and you can get free entry for a year too.

The attendant said to work from the bottom to the top which was a big mistake
Overcrowding in walkways
Entire families with audio sets blocking way continuously
Should strongly suggest they move to one side in such a confined space
