Came into town after an 8 hour drive through traffic. We were worn out, tired, and cranky. The staff and amenities brightened our moods right up. First class place, first class staff

I can't believe the difference it makes to one of Shakespeare's plays to see it performed at the RST! It's a beautiful theatre, with tons of atmosphere, and makes the plays come alive. One tip is to book (cheaper) seats at the side, in the circle, and the visibility is very good indeed.

Stages Shakespeare’s major plays.
Stages Shakespeare’s major plays. Quite good at big productions to suit a wider audience. Often big names. Good theatre, shop and refreshments. Big new tower to visit, and restaurant. Often have exhibitions. Good to go to any restaurant before or after a play.
