Hapimag Resort Edinburgh, hotel in Edinburgh

Hapimag Resort Edinburgh, a refreshing alternative where you will enjoy an experience to remember.

Fantastic hotel and fantastic staff! I booked the Hapimag as part of my partner's birthday night in Edinburgh. I asked the staff if they could kindly leave some flowers and chocolates in the room as a small surprise, and they went out their way to leave a lovely bunch of flowers, nice chocolates and a card. The suite was spotless and well worth the money. We also like the honesty box approach to drinks and snacks which we used later in the evening. We will definitely book here again!

A favorite FREE place to visit for over 50 years.

A favorite FREE place to visit for over 50 years. Note that the parking charges are much higher right by the West entrance gate than 100m away. There is no entrance from the south and the east gate is more towards the centre of Edinburgh so pretty congested. Particularly recommended in late spring when the rhododendrons are flowering. Or during winter when there are light displays.

There are 2 entrances one on the east side and one on west side, lovely gardens well maintained, love the cottage/vegetable garden. The glass houses I feel were expensive considering you couldn’t access all the houses due to Covid, but as it was free to get into the botanical gardens still worth a visit. Very popular with families.
