Spacious and clean family room with comfy beds. Respected my request for a quiet room, very quiet despite the location near main road. Amble car parking space and hearty breakfast - true to pictures. Creamy, moisturising body wash. Great value for money. Staff were attentive and welcoming.
This stylish contemporary boutique hotel is ideally located on the vibrant Ipswich waterfront.

Beautiful building inside and out and the interior design was wonderful taking it back to its industrial past but in a contemporary way.
The views over the harbour were brilliant especially with the wonderful weather we enjoyed

A popular, traditional English pub, just like they used to be! Friendly staff, good choice of food on the menu, room was small, perhaps a bit "tired" but perfectly adequate for a one night stay, and very good price compared to others in the area.

I only used the hotel to sleep one night so never took advantages of any amenities on offer. Room was good - I do recall access for the disabled not as good as it would be (steps at front of hotel) however once I was shown a side entrance access was a lot easier. Lovely room wet room for washing facilities and so completely satisfied over all. Thankyou.

The Travellers Choice Ipswich are thieving unscrupulous con artists, DO NOT STAY HERE, They charged me twice as apparently their system was down on arrival and they had no proof even though the email confirmation was provided to them and, a call placed the next day to confirm payment. This was back in October 2021, and yet I have still not received my money back (Feb 22). The hotel, (well more of a hostel).
I would have given this a ZERO but that wasn't an option. STAY HERE AT YOUR OWN PERIL, you’ll be fraudulently charged twice. Happy to provide a list of their other properties - as you will want to AVOID these as well.
Booking.com - have disappointed me, as they have left it to the hotel to resolve... This is not good enough booking.com I suggest you remove these cowboys from your site.

It was very busy on arrival but the staff tried to look after us as quickly and efficiently as possible. The room was basic but comfortable and clean and surprisingly quiet. It is in a great location for Portman Road, and is ideal for evening matches.
My third time staying here. Lovely, friendly, family run independent hotel. Basic rooms, but spotlessly clean. Easy walking distance to town centre and Portman Road for the football. The Arbor and Greyhound pubs close by (good for food and beer) plus lots of good cafes
PERFECT location for the football, i travelled to watch the football at portman road and with this hotel only 10min walk away it was perfect,
dinner was lovely and good value for money
breakfast was really nice also, lots to choose from and all cooked fresh,
the room was very cosy and the bed was super comfortable
