Old Parsonage Hotel, hotel in Oxford

The Old Parsonage Hotel is a boutique hotel set in a building dating back to 1660.

We try to come here each year for a pre-CHristmas treat and it never disappoints. The hotel is beautifully decorated, cosy and welcoming, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast delicious, and the highlight is a residents-only library where you can order coffee or drinks and browse the collection of books. Great location close to St Giles and Little Clarendon Street and a short walk into the centre

Nice country pub in quiet location with recently fitted out bedrooms in the courtyard. Bus stop outside for no. 11 buses to and from Oxford Town Hall. Morning buses include one just before 8 and one just before 9, take about 45 minutes - limited afternoon/evening returns, but the 15.45 and 17.25 were okay for me. Charming staff, very good breakfasts and dinners.
