A great day out.
A great day out. If you don’t already know find out all about the history of the legend who was Robin Hood from Nottingham of Sherwood Forest. A big part of our history and culture- we need to keep passing down these stories and history to our children as it’s all part of our culture . Maid Marion. Robin’s Merry Men. Shooting bows & arrows.
Great fun!!

The castle is a must-see if you visit Nottingham.
The castle is a must-see if you visit Nottingham. It is steeped in history. Maybe not as impressive as the likes of Edinburgh Castle, but the building has a story to tell. A lot of it is more like an art gallery. You can go on a guided tour of part of the underground section of the castle, which I recommend if you ever visit the castle.

The property was perfect for our visit as a Family to Nottingham to attend The British Transplant Games. The facilities were lovely and it was very spacious for our group of seven. We used Uber to get in and out of the city and used our car for other destinations nearby. Visited Nottingham Castle, Wollaton Hall and Sherwood Forest.
The location was 2 minutes walk away from Nottingham castle, 4 minutes walk away from the oldest inn in England and about 10 minutes away from the city centre shops. Usual room facilities, tea ,coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and bottled water. The breakfast was excellent plenty of choice yogurts, smoothies, pastries, cereal and of course the full English which was piping hot.
Property is close to the railway station and literally a two minute walk away from Nottingham Castle and was perfect for walking to rock city for gig I was going to
The location was fantastic. A 15 minute walk from the station and a 10 minute walk into the main shopping area. Nottingham castle was a 2 minute walk . Lots of pubs and eateries around.
The location is perfect - ca 100m from the Nottingham Castle entrance, about 5 min from the Rail Station. Room was rather small, nut with a small-size bath and facilities quite enjoyable. No Air-Conditioning, but open window worked just fine. Optional greetings white wine with a cooler which served as a fridge for next 4 days.
