My name is Gabriel and I am an Italian tour guide / tour manager. I've booked this stay in Mallaig choosing their option for their en suite room as the highlight of my holiday and I have to say I am disappointed. Uppon arrival me and my beloved were treated warmly as we have been treated in Scotland during our holiday. A young highland size young man greated us warmly and shared with us the information of the stay before having us pay and giving us the key, I was a bit confused when he said the heating was a bit off and that we will find an electrical heater in the room, he was very enthusiastic about the room we chose sharing with us almost on a jealous tone that the room had a terrace. After receiving our key we went to the room and found it warm on a cold day, we rejoiced and when our hands touched the inroom heating system we noticed it was warm so we didn't bother with the thought of this electrical heater that was under the table in the room ( Again I've booked the en suite, which was supposed to be the best experience this place has to offer ). Due to the fact that I've thought to myself that since this location is an Inn and it looked nice and cozy, food would be served every evening at their restaurant so I booked us for a table every evening, nothing better than eating at your host's place. We were not disappointed with the food on the first night, the chef in the kitchen, tall skinny man was DJ'ing those pans like a professional ( I worked in the restaurant business for many years, you can feel when a chef has passion, the flavours change ). We loved the food on the first night, had myself a cider, the fruit ones since I'm not a big drinker of anything else.
