A large hotel with good facilities in large grounds. Lots of hotel rooms, some of them quite far from reception. Clean rooms, if dated, and needing a little TLC. Rooms do have parking facilities near rooms so in our case this worked well.
Situated on the M5, just 20 minutes north of Bristol, Days Inn Michaelwood offers free WiFi in all rooms and free parking.

The motel was recently rennervated. The rooms were clean and the room we had overlooking fields was unexpected and made for a quiet stay. The motel facilities could be supplemented by teh local service station.
With garden views, Forthay Bed and Breakfast is situated in North Nibley and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area.
This family-run hotel and restaurant in the heart of the Cotswold Hills is close to Berkeley Castle, the Jenner Museum, the Wet Lands Trust and Slimbridge Severn Way

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Canons Court Mews is situated in Wotton under Edge, 29 km from Bath. Bristol is 26 km from the property. Free private parking is available on site.
